Breathwork is an active meditation using a simple two part breathing pattern that by occupying the mind creates space for the body to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. This breathing technique is an effective tool that aids in letting go of old narratives, traumas and fears, while simultaneously connecting you to your intuitive and higher self. Like meditation or hypnosis, Breathwork takes us out of the beta brainwave state to the creativity of the alpha and theta waves, wherein parts of the brain that don’t always get to communicate have the ability to do so. After breathwork people often comment that they feel more centered within themselves, clear about their lives and lighter emotionally.
I am a certified Breathwork facilitator. I have studied working with groups, individuals and couples with David Elliott and Erin Telford. Breathwork has been the most transformative healing modality in my own life and it is an honor to share it with you.
